Hi, I’m Barbara.
I’m a yoga teacher based in Banbury, Oxfordshire—and a psychology student with 4 years of experience supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities.
I help people feel more at home in their bodies and minds—without pushing, fixing, or performing.
I'm a certified yoga, meditation, and relaxation teacher. I don't follow one strict lineage. Instead, I teach in a way that responds to who’s in the room and what they need that day.
My weekly classes and 1:1 sessions blend mindful movement, mobility work, and yoga asana. We build strength, improve range of motion, and support nervous system regulation. Once a month, I offer slower, stiller practices like Yin and Restorative Yoga to help you deeply rest.
There’s no pressure to perform. Just space to feel, move, and reconnect.
Why I Teach
As a teenager, I struggled with back pain, scoliosis, burnout, and a sense of disconnection from my body. I tried gyms and sports, but they never felt right. Yoga did. It helped me feel safe in my own skin again.
Over time, I noticed my migraines eased. My self-talk softened. I felt stronger—not just physically, but emotionally. Yoga became my anchor.
Now, I teach from that lived experience. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed. My classes offer a safe space to land, rest, and heal.
My Values
- Every body is welcome
- Healing takes time, and you set the pace
- We move gently, breathe deeply, and practice presence
- Rest is productive
- There’s nothing wrong with you
I believe yoga and meditation are powerful tools for navigating the chaos of modern life—and I want to make them feel possible, even if you’re tired, busy, or unsure where to start.
If that sounds like what you need, I’d love to meet you.
